Baton Race Setup: Can hit 142's. The setup is a tad loose, it's setup to my driving style. You might want to tighten it up a tad, and adjust to your own driving style. Enjoy! Attachments:

Hi, if you look at Post #17 in this thread there is a setup attached to the post. FYI: The setup is a bit loose you might want to consider tightening it up a bit, and also the gears, I'm mainly driving around in 1st thru 4th, on this track, so you might want to reconsider changing those.. Since I'm rev'ing my engine quite a bit with those gears.

lol. i cant get better than a 1:57 using a bit earlier gears than daveOs set and some extra front end rebound might be my gears not shure here it is 1.57? How many times are ya spinning out? At this track I'm either putting the gas down or on the brakes. I pulled out 1.44s using the Birmingham Grand am setup with no changes what so ever. Be cautious though about tire wear using that setup . But very very stable setup basically drives itself. I wouldn't advise driving Dave's setup to anyone until they have learned the track and these cars fully. Also with these cars the rear end will step out. Instead of trying to over correct it and end up going wide just put in a touch of opposite lock and bury ya foot in it to hold it in the drift. I have done my fastest times completely sideways through the hairpin ;D And it looks awesome too when the smoke is pouring out of the car .

I've gotten a few pm's that some folks, are are having some difficulties with this track.. Maybe a few of us can get together next week and have a few practice sessions.. Also if you need help adjusting any set to your driving style I'll do what I can to help you out during practice. P.S. Karl when you get a chance can you please load Baton on the server? Thanks...

This track is awesome....and extremely demanding!!! It seems to be a great track for those who like the cars kinda loose. What's not my case, BTW.... ;D The hard spots to me are: the hairpin (when I usuallly have to countersteer a lot to get the car right) and the last chicane (where I have to slowdown like an old lady to avoid missing the turns going straight to the grass bumps in there...... ;D .
