I was wondering, which tracks are best suited for the Group C mod? Is it the tracks that are like Mosport_T, the _S tracks, or the tracks with just the normal name?
Any help is appreciated.

Any high speed track is suitable for the mod. Examples are: Imola, Le Mans, Mugello, Mosport, Sebring.
Zolder and Limerock are very challenging.
Unsuitable are tracks like Monaco and Toronto and any short track.
Tho I have to admit that running a track with the Group C mod is of a personal matter, others may be more comfortable running a track as another may hate the same track with this mod.

How about the AI

Looking in the GroupC folder, I see lots of .gcf files for AI on the "T" tracks and some on the "S" tracks. The .gcf files are for AI lines for the cars. And as with any Heat mod, if you don't like the AI on a certain track, you can make your own very easily by running some good, fast, clean laps and copying over the .gcf files into the main mod folder from the "ghostcar" folder that it makes, and they'll run your line then.

Agreed to humty, also you can check schedules for past seasons. Any fast track with good flow should be good:
Riverside, Rouen, Watkins Glen, VIR...

Unsuitable are tracks like Monaco and Toronto and any short track. Mmmhh... I had a ton of fun at Toronto, Long Beach and Sardian Park ;D Guess it depends on your personal likings. The cars are somewhat tricky to get around in tight turns because of having far more power than grip, as downforce doesn't much happen in slow turns. Thus narrow. slow tracks are not much fun with GroupC mod. IMO the only tracks downright unsuitable are Bathurst, Becancour, Adelaide, Vancouver, Monaco, Symmons Plains, Taruma (too slippery) As for AI, so far as I recall the mod comes with AI files for all the tracks in the championship schedule, so these should be ok. Track with walls are generally troublesome with AI in Heat, but for all else tracks its just a matter of diligence to get a competitive AI. Here's how to: www.speedsims.net/tutorials/mkai.htmlAs for some limit with Heat engine, unfortunately there's no way to get an AI for Nordschleife, and AI for LeMans may be a problem. Those tracks are simply too long

The "T"-tracks all have penalty traps, that will add 2sec to laptime if you shortcut, while the "S"-tracks even have traps that will slow your car down for 5 secs in case of shortcutting. The "T" and "S" extensions don't relate to any mod. It's just indicating some build-in methods of cheat prevention For GroupC mod, these methods don't make much of a difference, as you'll have to be careful no to run on grass anyway, as the instant loss of grip will put you into trouble rightaway btw... there'll be a GroupC online series starting at the end of October/early November...

Ive managed to have some fun with these beasts on Long Beach and Toronto, though they are a right handful on the tight streets...my three favourite tracks Ive ever raced these beasts on are probably Watkins Glen, Rouen (there should be more races at that track full stop, great fun ) and the Hungaroring, all three are white-knuckle high-speed fun, even for a relative rookie as myself with these monsters
