LOL... seeing all the kids around though, it sure makes you feel older. I still remember when I went to my first NASCAR race at Daytona when I was 6 or 7 years old. Most of my heroes were running that day...Richard Petty, Darrell, Waltrip, David Pearson, Cale Yarborough, A.J. Foyt, Bobby and Donnie Allison, Buddy Baker, Benny Parsons...and all those guys. Now, not a single one still races. At least when I go over to Bowman Gray, there are names that I can remember that still race....even some 30 odd years later. With all the kids in NASCAR now, basically taking that sport over, it just makes a guy my age feel old, to see all his heroes not racing anymore. Shows how time changes as we get older.
