this the final component that i need to understand. i am not knowlegded on nascar components. what i want explained is which end is affected by how much brake balance or where is the brake balance( i think). if i have 45% brakes in setup is that 45% in front or 45% in rear? then that would mean 55% on the opposite set. do the grp c or the gt3/2 or vta cars have 4 wheel braking at all. any help would appreciated.

almost, all road race cars since the early 1920's have four wheel brakes, with Heat the balance number is X percent front brakes and the remainder (100-X) the rear brakes which is not shown. The percentage that you run in Heat will vary with cars because of the difference in weight in front versus rear wheels and sometimes with the rear downforce. Also driving style and equipment. i run more rear brake than many as i use the rear brakes to help turn the car some. with trans-am i use about 58 on Group c i use about 48 lots of weight and downforce on rear end. most modern race cars have adjustable brake balance to help with different fuel loads and weather conditions.

In car physics there's a setting for max brakeforce for each front and rear wheels. So, yes, cars have 4 wheel braking.
According to my understanding a setting of 45% brake bias would mean a brakeforce distribution of 45% front/55% rear - which would make the car probably much oversteering on braking, as the rear wheels would lock up . If front wheels lock up first, you'll get understeering on braking
The aim on setting brake bias thus is to get consistant braking on both axles without locking up one end. As intertia makes car weight "move" forward and stress front brakes on braking, typically front brakes should have >50%. Actually on GroupcC cars I'm using something from 55% to 63%
But it's up to what value the mod's author has put in as max brakeforce for each axle. In some mod's physics max brakeforce is different for rear and front, and thus you'll have to check out what brake bias setting is best for this mod
