The SpeedSims website still does not contain the information needed for someone to join your race. Last week I managed to type in a request for help at the last moment, and was supplied with an IP# to place into the launcher.
This week it was race time before I realized the address given did not offer the information I needed to join in.
After my first on-line run last week, I had been looking forward to competing against real drivers ever since. I believe my set-up was closer to optimum, and the road course would have been so much better to compare my skill against this groups' drivers.
A group, by the way, I wish to sincerely thank, as I recognize the names as some of the premier Modders. That in itself makes it a bit unnerving to join the group as a driver.

Sorry to hear that, but I did put up the server address here in the forum at least 90 min before race started and knowing Karl he put it up the main site shortly after that. And I've never heared any complaint from anyone that he couldn't connect. But next time I'll put my IP address next to it so that there will be no more problems. Chris |

My DSL line was off for the whole August, which is why I only was only rarely online and didn't notice there was still the IP from GroupC race on site  The server address used for current race is always updated at least 30 min before race start, more often 1h before Sorry you missed the race because of my indisposition  |

Congrats to Crash for his overall win of the series. Yeah! Hail the God of Speed ! ;D And thanks for a great series. Though .... a no, rather because I was stuck in the middle of the fighting that series was really big fun. Chasing Anni for more than half the race at Mosport, attacking twice each lap and no way to pass was uttermost fun ;D Hope he was dripping as much sweat as me in that race |

 i hope this isn't confusion of IP numbers xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx versus the ip name such as FDR.serveheat.com. Mod Launcher only takes the first but if you go into the game and multiplayer and then find you can enter either the number or the name. and it even remembers it the next time you enter the game
