Well I think the racing was great, the admins did an admireable job and took a bad ISP situation and made it all work out...Cudo's admins well done!!
As far as ATI's complaints, Man just race the races and take life with a grain of salt. If you cant then its simple just get out and go out and find a laugue where u can be happy.
Dave and Chris did a great job with this race, they could have informed the newby's better but hey we all take time to learn from mistakes.
All in all well done was a lot of fun, time to do it again soon for sure!!!

Here is a first impression of the first "Mini FXR" race.
I qualified on 9th place, as usual. I´m not a hotlapper. After race started I wasn´t able to go the performence of the leading group. Place by place I took profit from the driving style of the overheated youngsters. I saw many cars on the green. At the end I finished on 4th place, after the guy in front of me had a crash with an overlapped driver on start/finish straight.
Last comment: I´ve never seen a race with less respect to blue flags. As an overlapping driver you had to take care of the situation. The drivers have been "fast" (but not fast enough), but they didn´t use their mirrors and they were fighting for the line under blue flag.

I´ve never seen a race with less respect to blue flags. As an overlapping driver you had to take care of the situation. Quote from rules: A car that is about to be lapped must yield to the lapping car at least within one lap by giving room for the overtaking at the first safe opportunity. In case you think someone didn't drive according to that rule, you should file in a complaint.

This was in my second post and it never got answered and I think it is fitting now. As far as the Blue flags how come I was running in 13th place and a car caught me and I got the Blue flag so I gave him room as quick as I could and after he passed me I moved to 14th place. He wasn't a car lapping me but the game gave me the Blue flag. After that incident I wasn't real sure I trusted the Blue flag. I'm not complaining but I would like to know if LFS makes that error on a regular basis. Has anyone else had that happen to them or am I just lucky. LOL !! I am REALLY looking forward to the next race !!!! PEACE

@ FFSBudman Sorry bout the late reply but replay reviewing was priority #1 the last few days Joel As I saw it in the replay this situation happened twice to you. You will get a blue flag when a lapping driver gets within a certain distance/time behind you. Unlucky for you that distance/time occured when a driver right behind you (in the same lap/position fight) made you think that that was the lapping car and you moved over to let him get by you. As I also noticed you had awesome acceleration what might caused that the car that gave you the blue flag dropped back a bit which ment that the blue flag was lifted at that moment. This is the only explanation I can think off. Chris

Well, the racing itself was good, but with things such as blue flags, punt offs etc... its racing, not etiqate (spelt wrong). Racing envolves, well racing, you dont see people yeilding in normal racing, whether it be too close for comfort or what, also, excellent job from the organizers after all of the server trouble. on the subject of rules now, i have been penalized, which I accept, but, as the rules state "warning: for causing dangerous situations/bending rules or a singular minor incident; doesn't necessarily need to have been an incident though. Only put out once per driver. last gridplace start: for causing minor incidents repeatedly or several minor incidents in a row. " I have the right to a warning first should only one incident be caused. Just sayin Look foward to racing again in july. Oscar.

Hi Oscar, We had your Incident reviewed by a third party like you requested, now we don't usually discuss penalties in the forum, but if you would like further proof of the third parties decision I will gladly send it to you.

yes please, but still, what is stated in the rules means that i have the right to a first warning, as, the crash that i ... caused ... was only minor based on the contact made, thats all.

I wouldn't call it minor, but like I said we don't discuss this in an open forum. 3rd party review has been sent to you by pm.

PEACE Well, I had the same problem as you BUD i think it may be a bug or an adjustment that can be changed in options, MAYBE??? If anyone has a definition for this behavior in LFS please let us know. This blue flag problem can happen if
you have a car in same lap like you behind you
and an overlapper comes additionaly up from behind to you.
