Well that was fun ;D Didn't think I could make it but my boy went for his nap at just the right time. Not sure if I'll be able to keep working it that way or not but I'll sure get more practice in next times just in case. Had some great battles - thanks guys, I love running side-by-side throught the hairpins with drivers I trust. Was it BMX that said he was surprised he beat crash? Don't worry that'll change soon ummm BTW I'll help the review process a little - I only did a splash and go with no tires at my pit stop...like I said I didn't expect to make this event so I hadn't read the rules real close. I'll accept any penalty handed down Can I get a clarification on the rules, does full service pit mean I should start the race on 1/2 the amount of fuel I expect to need and take the other 1/2 at my stop? If I choose 3/4 required at the start and 1/4 part way through does that count as "full service"? Must all 4 tires be changes or can I set it so I only get 2 changed?

I only did a splash and go with no tires at my pit stop... Same problem here. Idiot me had forgotten to set pit options the right way. It's the reason why I dropped soon after pitstop since I expected to get a DQF anyway because of the no-full-service pitstop So would be great to know what penalty comes with a no-full-service pitstop

I would have been 4th in the race, if one noob who i was lapping didnt put full brakes on a straight when im just behind him, no fun race at all. My overall view from this race is following one. Race quality (top drivers) - 9/10 Server quality - 0/10, had to change to my mates server. Race quality (bottom drivers) 0/10, some of them rushed constantly on the track after pitlane, even if there was a blue flag and overtaking driver right behind him/(her?) Blue Flagged drivers - 0/10, i mean who, WHO pulls brakes on FULL, when im right behind him on straight Thanks for ruining my race (no naming 'n' shaming though here) check the replay if you want. I spun in 1 moment of the race, but had ~2 seconds steady lead to TDRT guy anyway, so i should have been in 4th race. One more note. You guys seriously need to move this race 1 hour earlier, The race winner, Bambo, its very late for him as for me too the start time of the race. 11pm for both. And if you dont change the starting time for an hour, then im confused, because Bambo and me are one of fastest guys here (Bambo probably fastest with FXR) and you give one australian guy who is slower than us by 2 seconds per lap more time to prepare for race, then im confused. Because too late is too late, but im sure that Crash can wake up at 7am instead of 8am. E: Full service pit is tires change + refuel (free amount 1%-100%) and possibly damages. you can choose any fuel amount you want in the start, but everyone has their own pit strategy Mine was to pit in midrace, i took 37% fuel in start, 1% refuel in pits and tire change -> got few seconds back ^^

So changing it an hour earlier would mean getting out of bed at 4am.. Used to do that a long time ago, but not nowadays.. I also used to stay up until 2am for races in the old days. I realise 11pm is way past bedtime for some, but it`s an easier option than getting out of bed at 4am in winter, believe me. Cheers...

I would have been 4th in the race, if one noob who i was lapping didnt put full brakes on a straight when im just behind him, no fun race at all. File in a complaint to race admin, that's why there is race admins Race quality (top drivers) - 9/10 ... Race quality (bottom drivers) 0/10, they always rushed to the track after pitlane, even if there was a blue flag and overtaking driver right behind him/(her?) What's that supposed to tell us ? Top 10 did well, bottom 10 did suck ? Or top 5 and bottom 5 ? or 3/3 ? Or what ? Now obviously there had been some drivers that didn't drive the way you think they should have - as already mentioned: file in a complaint. But what's the aim of your statement above ? You guys seriously need to move this race 1 hour earlier... And if you dont change the starting time for an hour, then im confused, because Bambo and me are one of fastest guys here (Bambo probably fastest with FXR) and you give one australian guy who is slower than us by 2 seconds per lap You confuse YOUR reasons to set a time schedule with those the race admins have. That 8pm UTC slot is the result of 6 years of running leagues and checking out time slots. And I really wonder why 23:00 ETC would be any problem at all in Finland in summer, when it hardly gets even dark at all. You guys have to get up at 6am in the morning ? If not, what's the problem ?

First of all I would like to thank Wilko868 for providing us with a backup server for last nights race.
I also would like to apologise for our main server problems at race time.
On any given time our server has an upload speed of 2300, more then sufficent power to handle this many drivers. Yesterday the ISP picked that day, : NOT to have provided the sufficient enough upload & download speed that I'm paying for.
I called the ISP last night and gave them an earful, and as of right now everything has been rectified, and this problem should not happen AGAIN..

You guys seriously need to move this race 1 hour earlier The race time is picked to be convenient for drivers ALL over the world. You keep on whinning about the start time is TOO late. To you it might be because it exceeds your curfew. I never saw or heared the race winner complaining about it. Race quality (bottom drivers) 0/10 So in your opinion the quality of the drivers wasn't to your expectation. Keep in mind that your still dealing with human beings, who CAN and WILL make occasional errors. None of us are professional race drivers, we all do this for recreation, relaxation and fun. QUOTE FROM THE RULES: obviously you have NO respect towards your components that participate in the race. After the race you kept mentioning that you would leave the league because of these and some other things. WELL GUESS WHAT! WE'RE TAKING YOU FOR YOUR WORD. We have a lot of time and effort invested in this series so we can do without the complainers and whinners. Chris and Dave (admins)

Just dont pay too much attention to the whinning, overall it seems it was a nice event. I also want to give the series an apology, in behalf of me and my team mate, for not being in the season opener, as more pressing matters prevented us from taking the start, even after having practiced for it. However, I'd like to suggest that every driver gets a reminder in form of PM here, or at LFS forums, or even email Really hoping to see you in next race And congrats Bambo!

Even with the server change I think the race WAS A BLAST !!!! ;D I commend you admins for the way everything was handled !!!! I also want to commend ALL the drivers that I had a chance to race with for being CLEAN RACERS which is hard to find . Sure there was a little bumping and rubbing but that is to be expected. I didn't see anything that was out of line.(even though I was around 12th most of the time LOL) I enjoyed it so much I'd like to do it once a week as a fun run with no points involved too. ;)Woo Hoo !!!!

If I would continue the whining of mr Ati, I would be wining to u too when i came on the inside to over take, and u cut inside the corner becuase u oversteered after T1... But i dont because i love this sort of thing! Could have would have blah blah blah, this race was a blast!! I made my own lil mistakes went off in the first few laps which left me to fight to 7th again. There are alot of guys who can do fast laps, but not that many who know how to race and over take cleanly. If anyone has complaints take it to the admins. Thats where it belongs. The trouble with the server was just bad luck while we were in perfect luck to have someone nice enough to provide a backup!! I am happy it got handled so well. Also this is the first LFS league for Speedsims. And I take it seriously, but to burn off everything already is not fair. Dave, u done a good job on adminning this and I'd say i look forward to the next race! Maybe the backrunners should indeed get a bit used to moving over a bit more quicklike but this is something that has to grow. If its to bad then yes, file a complaint and i am sure the admins will deal with it seriously. I just hope the whining stops and people remember what they are here for... Racing... and if u win thats great, but dont pls start putting people in the 'untermensch' basket already and lift urself as some ubermensch just because they are still slow. That also will change in time as we all gain experience. Anyhow this community of Speedsims is one of friends and friendly people. Lets keep it that way. Admins are for the complaints. And the rest of the forum for normal talks, help eachother, share setups, give advice to the ones who need it. Well enough said, See u in the next race! T.Daams - Triz

We have a lot of time and effort invested in this series so we can do without the complainers and whinners. Chris and Dave (admins) Well.. 11pm is way past bedtime to me. I didnt name and shame here anyone, i never complained about specified driver, i understand that we are all human beings here, but some mistakes were continuing here all the time, for example the worst example -> Blue flagged drivers. I dont mean that everyone from bottom driver is 0/10, just some of them, my post was easily to misunderstand. I respect CLEAN RACERS, but no racers who DONT SAY SORRY AFTER THEIR MISTAKE! Its hard to be generally polite, when someone who ruins your race, doesnt care about it at all. Oh yeah, I got the pole position of the qualifying, guess why i couldnt race on my limits? because some people in my family kept saying all the time that shut the PC OFF,If you'd be in same situation, you'd be asking same thing here. Thats the reason why couldnt the league be moved bit earlier, even 20 - 30 minutes? Trust me, it'll be much easier for some people I understand that you've invested alot of time for the league and the effort is good, but could you set some requirements for the race? i see some people come racing with not much practise. This track is "easy", it might be, but its hard to be driven fast, so its alot worse for leading drivers, if some blue flagged drivers dont follow Blue Flag recommendation. I have nothing against people here, i respect this effort you have put, but i'd like to have some clean racing with everyone, not meaning to hurt anyone here, some were good from bottom drivers, but some could need some practise. I was writing with anger that morning's post, and i'd like to apologise for bad content in it, but Admins got to realise that we need better ordering in racing. I suggest that in next races there would be live admin who would give in-race penalties. Im sorry who i pissed off and i didnt mean to, but some drivers (once again no namin'n'shamin') could need more practise for tracks before going to the track. I sincerely hope that future races will have more prepared drivers for better and more interesting league. Cheers.

I guess you didn't notice me hitting 58.8's during warm ups, then during qualifying session, me pulling over, to try and figure out why everyone was getting disconnected. Do you hear me cussing up a blue streak about that? Hell NO!! 2. About people apologizing to you. Not sure if you read the rules, but we have a NO Chatting rule for duing the race, so you won't hear and apology during that time. 3. How could ANYONE possibly apologies to YOU after the race when at the same time, you just sat there saying all that b/s. About the race time starting at 22:00 CET and 8pm UTC that has been explained to you several times now.. We have drivers that race here from all over the world.. Has it ever occured to you before posting on a forum, or before typing your b/s in the server, to take a 24 hour cooling period before blowing up into a fit of ANGER?

1. Well alright, i understand that the starting time is not changed, i gotta find a way now to make it in races 2. Couldnt he apologize after the race then? instead of that the driver was just talking to another guy (no naming and shaming) peacefully. I apologize to admins, but i feel that the driver who ruined the race, should have said some kind of sorry to me. Ofcourse it left me feel that the driver didnt care about it at all. You would feel the same in my position. IF he had said sorry, there would not be any bad talk here and i wouldnt bash That ;D Much.. I hope that no bad feelings will be left from this day on and everything is clear Otherwise i dont see any problems with this. Apologies to admins and I hope you guys will understand. Cheers.

I would be wining to u too when i came on the inside to over take, and u cut inside the corner becuase u oversteered after T1 Hi Triz, if I knew who you were I would have apoligized after the race. I didn't do that on purpose. I got on the gas to hard and the backend came around and then all of a sudden you were there. I REALLY didn't even know you were there. For that I apoligize. I felt bad when it happened but it just happened. As far as the Blue flags how come I was running in 13th place and a car caught me and I got the Blue flag so I gave him room as quick as I could and after he passed me I moved to 14th place. He wasn't a car lapping me but the game gave me the Blue flag. After that incident I wasn't real sure I trusted the Blue flag. I'm not complaining but I would like to know if LFS makes that error on a regular basis. Has anyone else had that happen to them or am I just lucky. LOL !! I am REALLY looking forward to the next race !!!! PEACE
