Well i've been working on something, but now i've gotten to 57.208. I'm thinking with a few more setup tweaks, I can easily get into the 56 range. However, I'm still having issues on the first and last turn.

58.1 is my fastest, my average is 58-1:01. I've stretched fuel mileage to 18.5-19 laps. On that note How many laps will Sonoma be?
I'm guessing you're talking about the hard right hander at the top of the hill, Jam on the brakes while simultaneously downshifting to 2nd, feather the throttle coming out or shift into third to keep the tires from breaking loose. On the last turn brake hard when the fence on the right ends, should slow you down in time to make the tight turn just right and be sure to feather the throttle coming out of there as well.

well i finally got a 56.878, and i think i still got the first and last turns, but i know i can do better, i made a camber change, and it made all the difference.
I know what you mean spikeg, but i having issues with the exit, being more tight than i would like, but like i said, some driving improvements, and setup changes. I'm mostly doing 57's at the start, and 58 on the later part, barring no mistakes i.e. off course, spinning out, etc. I don't know how much better I can get, but we'll have to see.

try playing with your front wing to make it looser.

thanks for the suggestion, while it did help, however, i found myself having a harder time keeping the car under control. SO i think comes down more to my driving style, than making the car loose. While loose is fast, it means nothing if you're spinning out into the grass on the first turn. lol

Actually less rear wing is faster, more straightaway speed.
Try playing with your cambers, maybe decreased right or increase left if its a right hand corner.

One guys perfect setup for him, might not work for someone else. It all comes down to your driving style and what works best for you. I'll be running Sonona and testing next week, if you would like to do some testing online then, I'll give you hand with some suggestions, on fixing your car. Just shoot me a private message one day next week of when your thinking of getting online, and I'll come run some with yea.

Actually less rear wing is faster, more straightaway speed. Try playing with your cambers, maybe decreased right or increase left if its a right hand corner. But how much rear wing do you really need, the straightaways aren't that long here in sonoma compared to montreal, portland, sebring, etc. Thanks for the suggestions, I've got the cambers where i wanted them, i lowered them too far with some bad results. . I found one thing that helped, was my front weight was too low, so i added some, not too much, but it has helped. It made it a lil loose without being too loose. Yet while this works for me, DaveO has a point, it's what is best for you. I've worked on this for awhile, I'm not a fan of this track, but that was because I didn't know how to drive it yet. Now that I have an idea, it seems a bit better to me.

I don't think anyone likes this track, except dave. He's won like 10 races there.

I enjoy it, now but we'll see how much I like it after the race next weekend ;D. The only section I'm having issues with is the Right,Left,Right esses, The rest of the track I got down pat but I keep losing time in the esses because I keep forgetting to turn in early enough. I did manage a 0:58 flat even with fubaring the esses lol ;D .

the great thing about this track i've found, is once you know how to drive it, it all comes down to setups. You change something you gain a few tenths, another thing, you gain another, and another, it adds up. It really shows, and if you go wrong, you know really quick.
